Return Policy

1. General Principles

ArtyLeo operates as an online platform connecting artists and collectors. Each artwork is a unique, original piece created by an independent artist. Therefore, different rules apply than for standard consumer goods. Our goal is to ensure satisfaction for both collectors and artists while maintaining the protection of originality and authenticity of each artwork.

2. Eligibility for Return

Because all artworks are unique and often made or prepared specifically for the buyer, returns are generally not accepted once the artwork has been shipped or collected. However, you may be eligible for a return or refund in the following cases:

  • The artwork was damaged during transport.
  • The artwork you received is significantly different from its description or photos on ArtyLeo.
  • The artist or ArtyLeo made a shipping or listing error (e.g., wrong artwork sent).

3. Reporting a Problem

If you experience any issue with your order, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the artwork at [email protected] with the following:

  • Order ID
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the artwork and packaging

We will review your case and respond within 5 business days.

4. Return Process

If a return is approved:

  • The artwork must be sent back in its original packaging, using insured and trackable shipping.
  • The collector is responsible for ensuring the artwork’s safety until it reaches the artist or the authorized ArtyLeo address.
  • Refunds are processed only after safe receipt and verification of the returned artwork.

ArtyLeo may assist in organizing insured transport through our logistics partners if necessary.

5. Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
  • Refund processing time: 7–14 business days after return confirmation.
  • Shipping and insurance costs are non-refundable, except in cases of damage or incorrect item.

6. Damaged or Lost Shipments

All shipments made through ArtyLeo or its partners are insured. If the artwork is damaged or lost during delivery:

  • Keep the original packaging and take detailed photos.
  • Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  • ArtyLeo will assist you in the insurance claim process.

7. Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-made artworks (commissioned pieces)
  • Digital files or certificates issued electronically
  • Artworks purchased in person during exhibitions or events
