Obraz "Zrození" zachycuje okamžik přechodu – z neznáma do přítomnosti, z chaosu do klidu, ze tmy do světla. Kompozice je rozdělená do dvou výrazných pólů: temně modré hlubiny napravo a rozjasněné, téměř mléčné ticho vlevo. Tyto dva světy odděluje zlatá vertikála, která je současně ranou i spojnicí, hranicí i mostem. Modrá část působí jako nekonečná hloubka – podvědomí, nevyslovené myšlenky, ticho před slovem. Je v ní temnota, ale ne beznaděj. V levé části obraz jakoby dýchal. Bílé pole nese v sobě závoj mlhy, která se pomalu rozplývá. Může symbolizovat duši, prázdné plátno života, anebo samotný akt zrození – okamžik, kdy se cosi zhmotňuje z neviditelného.
